Life After Love
Long Métrage - 2000
After 20 years of marriage, Gilles Gervais (MICHEL CÔTÉ) must face a harsh reality: his wife, Sophie Lavergne, is leaving him for another man. Going to extraordinary lengths, Gilles tries everything to restore meaning to his newly solitary life. To his dismay, none of his attempts, from dubious new psychiatric methods and drug abuse to affairs with other women, can keep him from completely losing it as he slips slowly but surely into a state of delusion. The comedy reaches a climax the day Gilles learns that Sophie is about to get remarried . . . Life After Love is a film about true love. Will Gilles manage to win his Sophie back?
